Chapter 5 Due Monday (12.2.13)

1. What is an 'asylum'? Mrs. MsCraw thinks putting Natalie in an asylum is a humane thing to do. Do you agree or disagree? Why?
2. What does 'deserted' mean? On what page can it be found? What is deserted?
3. Who was Moose angry at? Why?
4. Why does Moose try not to ever be mad at Natalie?
5. What does 'louse' mean? On what page can it be found? When does Moose feel like a louse?
6. What look like two toothpicks held together by a thread of steel? Why does it look like that?
7. Why don't you think Moose's dad likes talking about Natalie?
8. What does Moose's dad mean when he says, "Nobody wants to come to Alcatraz. But at least you don't have a number printed on your back and no bracelets either." What are 'bracelets'?
